Made by Hand. Made with Heart. Made to Be Cherished.

Welcome to The Wildflower Holler, where creativity, craftsmanship, and a whole lot of heart come together.

I have been hand etching for approximately 18 years, working primarily with glass and mirrors, and lately I've been tinkering around with metal and seeing where that takes me. I've always loved learning, creating, and pushing myself to see what I can make with my own two hands.

When I first started hand etching, I wasn't thinking about building a business. I was simply making things for the people I loved.

I made etched glasses for family and friends, and over the years, I learned a LOT through trial and error. And believe me... there was plenty of error!

There have been times when I spent a day and a half carefully etching a design onto a mirror, only for my niece to open it and accidentally break it in a matter of seconds.

Oh well... that's life!

So I'd make another one.

And another.

Practice makes perfect, right?

Let's just say I've had a LOT of practice.

Why Handmade Matters to Me

Eventually, friends began asking me to create special pieces for their families, too. What started as something I simply enjoyed doing for the people I cared about slowly became something more.

And that's how we ended up here.

I've always believed there is something incredibly special about receiving a handmade gift.

When someone takes the time to create something with their own hands, they're giving more than an object. They're giving their time, their creativity, their patience, and a little piece of themselves.

I've always loved being able to give something I've worked hard on to someone I love and knowing that they might keep it for years to come.

There's something comforting about the thought that a piece I created could still be sitting on someone's shelf or being used and enjoyed years from now.

Long after the moment it was given.
Long after the wrapping paper was thrown away.
Maybe even long after I'm gone.

That's what makes handmade creations special to me.

A Little Bit of Everything

I've always been the kind of person who doesn't like staying inside the same little box.

I've stepped away from hand etching at times and explored other creative paths. I've painted, drawn, created digital art, experimented with different materials, and chased plenty of new ideas along the way.

Sometimes I leave my comfort zone.

Sometimes I wonder, "Can I really do this?"

And then I try anyway.

Because that's how we learn.

That's how we grow.

And sometimes, that's how we discover something we never knew we could create.

The Wildflower Holler is a place where I can bring all of that creativity together.

From hand-etched glass and mirrors to artwork, custom creations, gifts, and new things I'm still learning how to make, I want this to be a place where creativity is allowed to wander a little.

🌻 Why The Wildflower Holler?

The name feels like the kind of place I want this business to be.

A little rustic.
A little cozy.
A little wild.
And filled with beautiful things that aren't quite like everything else.

Everything here is created with the belief that ordinary things can become something special when someone takes the time to make them by hand.

I don't want to simply make things.

I want to make things that mean something.

Whether it's a glass made for someone's cabin, a special gift for a loved one, a custom piece created from an idea in someone's head, or something completely unexpected that I haven't even thought of yet...

I want every piece to carry a little bit of that handmade heart with it.

Thank You for Stopping by the Holler

The Wildflower Holler is still growing, and honestly, I'm excited to see where it goes.

I'm always learning.
I'm always creating.
I'm always trying something new.

And if there's one thing I've learned after all these years, it's this:

You never really know what you're capable of until you pick up the tools, step outside your comfort zone, and give it a try.

So thank you for wandering down to The Wildflower Holler.

I hope you find something here that makes you smile, sparks an idea, reminds you of someone you love, or becomes a special little piece of your own story.

Made by hand.
Made with heart.
Made to be remembered.
